Strings Attached — Puppetry Workshop

Strings Attached — Puppetry Workshop

If you ever wondered what it would be like to put on a one person show, join master artist and professional puppeteer, Sarah Frechette. Frechette will take you through the creation process of her award-winning solo show “The Snowflake Man,” which is based on the life of Wilson “Snowflake” Bentley and features a cast of beautifully sculpted Czech-style marionettes. She’ll demonstrate how a solo performer navigates important creative milestones including: the style of show, voice of the story, and storyteller/audience relationship, as well as plot structure, character development, and creative use of a timeline. If you’re curious about what happens behind the scenes or if you’re an artist interested in performing solo, join us for this educational and inspirational workshop.
