Elementary School Religion Conference

This conference is sponsored by the Center for Religion and Spirituality (LMU Extension) and the Center for Catholic Education (LMU School of Education), in collaboration with the Archdiocesan Department of Catholic Schools. Elementary school teachers, administrators, religion coordinators and other interested parties are encouraged to attend.

More than ever, Catholic schools are widening their marketing efforts to appeal to increasingly diverse populations. At the same time, current research highlighting Catholic school effectiveness is attracting families of different cultural and religious backgrounds. What does this new outreach mean for Catholic schools in terms of its mission and identity? Join us for a day that combines critical reflection and practical strategies to examine the current ecumenical and interreligious diversity of Catholic school faculties and student bodies.
