| Description |
Baby Boomers are facing a driving dilemma: How to deal with elderly parents who should not continue to drive. The issues are myriad: How do I know whether my parents should stop driving? How do I talk to my parents about this? If they keep driving, how can I make sure they and others stay safe? What are the legal and insurance restrictions that they face? What transportation alternatives do they have once they stop driving? A panel of experts will present information to help you answer these questions, and they will be available for Q&A sessions. Learn what you need to know, because whether the time has come or has yet to arrive, this is a situation many of us face.
Facilitators will be: Billy Douglas, Douglas-Greer Insurance Company; Wayne Gutch, Alive at 25 and Defensive Driving Instructor; Dr. Glenn Ann Martin, Psychologist; Zane Smith, Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Registered participants may bring one guest with them. |
