Come join Commercial Appeal food writer Jennifer Biggs for an informational tour of the city’s largest ethnic grocery, Winchester Farmers Market. You’ll get the tour of the produce section, with more than 400 items from around the globe, then we’ll move on to the butcher shop and the extensive fish market before exploring the aisles of grocery products featuring Hispanic, Caribbean, Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Indian products available at WFM and other markets in town. Bring your friends and let Jennifer give you ideas for a fun cooking party. Wear comfortable shoes and meet outside the store 10 minutes before class starts. |
