Description: Course includes a Friday-night gathering of meditation, food and tea, then move into a comprehensive discussion of holistic medicine, the mind-body connection, an overview of Chinese medicinal practices, and dealing with stress in everyday life. Saturday’s portion of the class includes introductory practice of Tai Chi and Qi Gong, and participatory lecture and discussion sessions on Zang Fu Theory relating to organ systems and their function, Yin Yang, history of herbal medicine, and modern research and clinical applications. Open to all. Light dinner provided on Friday night. All learning materials included in tuition fee. |
