Description: This comprehensive 50-hour Certification Program prepares students, even those new to the medical field, to function immediately as EKG Technicians and to take the ASPT–Electrocardiograph (EKG) Technician exam or any other national certification exam. Students practice with equipment and work in a hands-on lab setting. Course includes practice and background information on anatomy of the heart, physiology, medical disease processes, medical terminology, medical ethics, legal aspects, patient contact, laboratory assisting, electrocardiography and echocardiography. Open to all. Especially worthwhile for a person who is pursuing a sudden or strategic career change and looking for a demand field with a quick training interval. Earn Certificate in less than 2 months. All learning materials are provided and are included in fee. All instructional and lab materials included in fee. No class 3/31/10. |
