Beginning and combined level Conversational French with the emphasis on jumping in and speaking fearlessly, while acquiring vocabulary and learning grammar. The main focus is conversation and correct pronunciation, while having fun. Learn and practice with a French native and graduate of the Sorbonne. All levels of conversational study are welcome. Hélène Cardona was born in Paris and is an author, linguist, teacher and actor. She has taught at the Ecole Active Bilingue in Paris and Hamilton College, N.Y. She has worked as a literary translator and interpreter for the Canadian Embassy and the French Chamber of Commerce. She played the role of the hairdresser in the movie “Chocolat” and she is the author of the bilingual poetry anthology, The Astonished Universe. |
