| Description |
The large choral ensemble offers instruction in choral music with emphasis on vocal technique as well as the study and artistic performance of quality repertoire representing a variety of style periods and musical genres. The spring semester culminates in the 45th Annual Spring Chorale on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 8:00 pm. In addition, on June 12-21, 2010 the LMU Choruses will tour to Italy, where they will present concerts, and sing Masses at St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice and St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. Attend: Previous choral experience is required, and an audition is required for enrollment. To schedule an audition, call the choral office at 310-338-5154. Auditions are held January 13-19. |
