Description: This 20-hour program is a comprehensive guide to medical terms, and includes identifying, analyzing, and understanding the basic word structure, root words, suffixes, and prefixes. In just three weeks, the student will also learn the organization of the human body and the associated systems, major drug classifications, diagnostic tests and treatment procedures, medical abbreviations, and symbols and common medical terms. Open to all. Especially worthwhile for people who plan to pursue a specialized certificate or are pursuing a sudden or strategic career change and who are new to the health profession.
