| Description |
Description: This 70-hour course combining billing and coding offers the skills needed to solve insurance billing problems, manually file claims, complete common insurance forms, trace delinquent claims, appeal denied claims, and use generic forms to streamline billing. It covers specialty fields such as surgery, radiology and laboratory, how to find the services and codes using a manual, and prepares the student to work in the field. After completing this certificate and working 6 months to two years in the field, a student can qualify to sit for the American Academy of Professional Coders’ Certified Professional Coder Exam (the CPC or CPC-H Apprentice), or the American Health Information Association’s Certified Coding Associate exam. Open to all. Especially worthwhile for a person who is pursuing a sudden or strategic career change and looking for a demand field with a quick training interval. Earn Certificate in less than 3 months. All learning materials are included in fee. |
