| Description |
From Roman civilization, and the Greek influence, we will look how both countries had an impact on each other. The Italian influence in France is found in architecture, in decor, in architecture, in landscape and in cooking. The so-called “Mediterranean Style,” which is so hard to really define (after all there are many countries surrounding that sea), seems to take most of its heritage in Tuscany. That resemble in many ways the architecture of Provence but some of that architecture is also found in some parts of Spain.
We will have a good time exploring in logical and chronological ways the history of architecture, decor and furniture of these two countries. |
